MOD's were described as the modern group of people.

There were a small group of working class young people who wanted clothes and shoes tailored to their style.
3. What are the 'fashions, mannerisms and music' that 'signal... membership' of this youth sub- culture'?
This included the fashion of tailor made suits. The music that was popular with the group was Soul, Ska and R&B. They used motor scooter such as Lambretta or Vespa. They were associated with all night dancing at clubs. If any of the MOD's worked then it would only be simple jobs which meant they had a lot of free time.
